  Welcome to 1st  Grade! It is Week 7! We have a lot of stuff coming up for our scholars during this month and next month. The scholars are so excited about Fall starting this Saturday and can't wait for the recess time to be a little cooler. With that being said since the weather may be a little cooler if you do not yet have a Great Hearts sweater, please try to get one. Thank you, and Have a Great Week!   Welcome to 1st  Grade! Its Week 6 we are halfway through Quarter 1! Progress reports are going out Monday the 18th so please be on the lookout. It is also time for conferences and the deadline to sign up is October 7th by midnight .  This week scholars will be still going over nouns, new Spalding rules and markings, a new poem and stories, ways to add, earth and space and we are going to continue learning things about Mesopotamia. Welcome to 1st Grade   This week is a bit eventful! On Thursday the 14th  we have our curriculum night! This is a night where parents can live a day in the life of a scholar. Yall will be learning and seeing what your scholar gets to do every day. We are so excited and thrilled to see and meet some of our new families that have joined our Great Hearts Western Hills family!
