  Welcome to 1st grade! Welcome to Week 4 This week we will continue learning Spalding words Please go over the words with your scholars and have them practice using those words in a sentence. Last Friday we took our very first Spelling Test and the Kiddoos were a bit nervous. Remind them when studying to maybe give them some ways to remember those words. We will also Start going to the library very soon as well. Parents, if possible, can you please go over playground etiquette and how to be kind and respect other people's space when playing thank you guys, we hope everyone has a great week!  Important Information: - Scholars with Upper School siblings (who wait in the MPR at carline) must have a silent reading book everyday with them or in their backpack. - Please make sure your scholar packs a snack everyday so  they  can refresh their energy. It  doesn't  have to be a big snack but just something to tie them over till lunch time. - Scholars have Math and Spalding Homework da

For Spalding words please dictate the words to your scholar and give them an example sentence it is really good for them to learn how to use the word in a sentence.  We also have a lot of important upcoming days so please mark them in your calendar! We will also start going to our school Library very soon.   1ST Grade Week 2 Hello Families! we have officially finished week 1! We are all still adjusting to our schedule and routines. As we continue to Learn and adjust to our schedule here are a few reminders. Please Hydrate your scholars! When we have recess, it is really Hot at both times we go outside. Please just remind your scholars to get water while they are playing and at home. This week we will send home Homework that is required and will now start to be taken as a grade if you have any questions, please reach out to your scholars Lead/ AT Teachers. Also please read and sign your scholar's behavior log and Agenda and fill out their reading log. Scholars should be reading with or without you every night.
