Literature: Aesop’s Fables: is a collection of stories by an ancient Greek storyteller and slave named Aesop that teach moral lessons. We will be reading: The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing, The Boy who Cried Wolf, The Goose and the Golden Egg, The Fox and the Grapes, The Milkmaid and Her Pail, and The Dog in the Manger.
Rope Rhyme by Eloise Greenfield is a clever poem that teaches the students about jumping rope. The poem uses language to understand a simple child’s game.
