Math: Now that students have reviewed and further built the skills of adding and subtracting in this chapter, they will start to use the inverse operation of addition to solve subtraction problems. Strong knowledge of fact families is beneficial to students using the related addition facts strategy to solve subtraction problems. At the end of the week, students will demonstrate their mastery of the concepts of adding and subtracting numbers within 20. Learners will use learned strategies, number bonds, and fact families to add and subtract on a final assessment.

In Science, we will be diving deep into our unit in plants & animals. Scholars will be able to describe how animal sensory structures capture information that animals need for growth and survival.
Table Manners (The Goops) By Gelett Burgess is about the Goop Family who do not demonstrate their table manners while eating.
