  Welcome to 1st Grade! This week we have only a 4 day week and we do not have school on Monday the 12th due to Presidents Day. I hope everyone did enjoy their 4 day weekend. We are so happy to have your scholars back! Please continue to remind your scholar that at recess they need to play gently and to have respect for their fellow scholars and listen to their teachers as well.   Welcome to First Grade Hello families, just a reminder we will not have school on Friday due to Faculty Professional day. We also do not have school on Monday so it will be a 4-day weekend! Woohoo! We have our school wide food drive coming up if you are interested in donating our grade will be donating goldfish. Please send donations on (February 12th & March 6th) Please remind your scholars about listening to their teachers out at recess and remind them that they should always follow their expectations told to them before recess.   Welcome to First Grade! Hello families, this week will be starting to make sure all scholars are following Uniform Guidelines. Please make sure your scholar is wearing their school uniform and correct shoes and jackets. Your scholar is allowed to wear a non-Great Hearts jacket only when outside of the building. If you need a refresher of the Uniform school guidelines, please look at Great Hearts Uniform Guidelines. All scholars who are wearing pants are expected to also be wearing a belt. Also,  no jewelry  is allowed if your scholar is wearing a necklace (Only One) it must be tucked in under their uniform shirt, no bracelets of any kind are allowed as well as rings, and only studded earrings are allowed to be worn. If your scholar is out of uniform, they will receive a Uniform Infraction that will be sent home that day in their black folder so please make sure you are checking their folder Daily.
